There is an error in the application. please restart the application

I receive the following error every time Skype for business starts on my iPhone.

There is an error in the application. please restart the application.

The app works just fine after that, but the message is annoying.

Please let me know if anybody has experienced the same issue.

Regarding your concern, try uninstalling and re-installing the Skype for Business app on your phone.

Let us know how it goes.

I have done that many times.

I even reset the iPhone to default settings.

Nothing seems to work.

I began receiving this same error out of the blue within the last few weeks. Tried un and re installing. No dice. Woyld be nice for MS to acknowledge and correct it. Im on iOS. Also this text box has horrible UX on iPhone with keyboard. Its like auto correct is disabled.

Funny enough, seems as though the issue has not reappeared since updating to iOS 11.
