Microsoft Project 2016 Is Constantly Crashing!

Whenever I open up my 304 KB project file and go to info -> advanced properties it freezes. Why? It does not do this when I start a new blank project. Can you help me? Thanks.

As I recall there were issues with crashing with the early version of Project 2016 and I believe those were addressed with updates. First I'd try running Windows update. That will update Office and Project with the latest fixes.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, then your file may be corrupt. Try saving to XML and then re-open the XML file in Project. Note, you will lose any custom formatting with this process.
