Microsoft Project has encountered a problem and needs to close.

When we break the links between this file and the schedule files, then it seems to work just fine. Otherwise, it just won’t save. Same goes for the schedule files when we try to save them while they are linked up to this file. I have not tried to save as with a different name because I did not want to screw up all of the links.

The files are not corrupted and the error seems to happen with any file connected to the resource pool and within the resource pool file itself. A temporary fix is to disconnect all projects from the resource pool, make adjustments, save it, then reconnect all the projects.
