I inserted a .MOV file into a PowerPoint 2010 show and it plays on one of my PCs but doesn't on the other. Any idea why?

Does it have to do with having to imbed the movie into the PowerPoint show? Thanks.

Answer

On the PC where the video DOES work:

Click File

Click Info

Click Optimize on the right.

That will convert the MOV into a more widely compatible format (might be best to do this on a COPY of your original presentation, by the way).

See if the optimized version plays on the other PC
