Another easier solution for you might be to create the questions and answers in Word. PowerPoint can read in Word files with level 1 headings going into the title area of a new slide and level 2 headings going into the content area of the current slide.
You could just create an outline of all level 1 headings with question 1, answer 1, question 2, answer 2, ... all on separate lines.
