PowerPoint MAC - FIX Custom Slide Show INABILITY TO SELECT MORE THAN ONE SLIDE AT A TIME

I believe this is only an issue in PPT for Mac - I've already sent this problem to Microsoft through the software. That was months ago. Any chance you're going to fix this any time soon? I need to make custom shows with large numbers of slides and the inability to select multiple slides means a lot of wasted time.

While you're at it, why don't you just make the quality of the Mac version the same as the quality of the Windows version? Are we really still pulling that platform based BS?

Please understand that you are not communicating with the developers in this Community which is a peer-to-peer user support venue. few if any of the design team spend any time lurking around here :-)

In that same vein, nobody here has any influence on what Microsoft does or insight on if/when they might do it. The best place to submit suggestions or feature requests as well as vote for existing ones is  PowerPoint for Mac  which is monitored by the developers.

Just in case you hadn't tried it, you can double-click as you go down the list of slides rather than having to use the ✚ for each one... that speeds things up a bit.

Ah!!! Thank you! I did a search on where to report a bug and the search brought up pretty much nothing, so I figured I'll just post here with hopes. Thanks for that link!

I will try the double click - that would definitely speed things up. I have to do one of these pretty much every day, so every little bit helps.

Probably no consolation but it's just as bad in the latest windows version.

Ha! Most people probably don't even know that function exists - so not a priority for the development team. Too bad for us power-users!

I agree so much I am busy trying to write a code workaround that allows slides to be added in "bulk" with the shift key!

I have it sort of working but still has several bugs.
