Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a
Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an
official Microsoft global customer service number.
i'm trying to figure out how much space an o365 group has when you create one from owa. i've read one place that the group has 1tb of file storage space that the group can use and i've read elsewhere that o365 groups pull storage space from the overall tenant
and so it's only limited to how much space you have for your entire tenant.
can someone please clarify this for me? when a user creates an o365 group how much space will they have to upload "group files" that everyone in the group can access?
3. There is no limit storage for these group site collections as long as you have enough tenant storage as I mentioned above.
4. 1TB storage you mentioned is for Personal site storage rather than group site collection. Every Office 365 for business user who have SharePoint Online license has his own personal site and has additional 1TB.
5. If you want to check how much storage have you used so far, you can refer to the summary post written by Lingyu in this thread to use PowerShell script to get that:https://community.office365.com/en-us/f/154/t/418490
Please let me know if we can discuss further.
Thanks,
Iris

Ok so it sounds like it is tied to the overall space of the tenant. Is there a Powershell command I can run that will display the current amount of space available in my SharePoint tenant without it having to create a csv file? When I check the SharePoint
Admin site it says we have 736 TB of 736 TB available.
