Cannot establish a network connection with Live.com account in Outlook 2013

Recently, I have not been able to connect with my @live.com account using Outlook 2013. I have another Exchange account in the same Outlook profile and that seems to work just fine. In fact, everything was working fine until today. I have tried to repair the connection, but I receive the following message:

 

"Outlook cannot discover settings for your account because a network connection could not be established. You may need to turn off Work Offline to automatically configure this account."

 

I don't have Work offline enabled.

 

Any suggestions?

I will assist you with the issue you are facing with live.com account in Outlook 2013.

 

In order to troubleshoot the issue related to Outlook, try the steps below:

1.       Remove and re-add the email account and check if it helps.

2.       If the above step fails, create a new profile for Outlook and configure only the Live account and check if the issue persists.
