"554 5.7.1 [R8] Authentication Failed, must login."

When I send a message, it is returned with this error code - "554 5.7.1 [R8] Authentication Failed, must login."   How do I fix this?

Diane,

I must admit, I don't even know what "authenticating with the outgoing server" means!  At any rate, I did reset my account settings and the problem resolved.  Thanks so much for your assistance.
