Faulting application name: HxOutlook.exe, when copying and pasting from a web browser

now, I know these types of errors are random and nee more performance monitoring.  However, I was intrigued by the error message as I have never seen this before.  Searching for this comes up with a few hits but not a lot.

So we have the windows 10 falls creators update and latest build of office 2016 (office 365 builds).  When a user tried to paste from a Chrome browser to outlook they got this a few times (they were copying and pasting email addresses from linkedin)

Faulting package-relative application ID: microsoft.windowslive.mail

here are my questions:

1. what is HxOutlook.exe

2. Faulting package-relative application ID: microsoft.windowslive.mail ?

3. what does Windows.UI.Xaml.dll do?

currently, making setting the default mail app to 2016 looks to resolve the issue.
