Emails being rejected message

This morning, all emails into my )ffice365 business account are receiving this automatic email response:

Remote Server returned '550 5.7.520 Access denied, Your organization does not allow external forwarding. Please contact your administrator for further assistance. AS(7555)'

I am administrator of the account but am drawing a blank on how to fix this.  Can anyone help?

Hi,

i had the same probem since 21.09.2020: Automatic forwarding results in the above error:

Remote Server returned '550 5.7.520 Access denied, Your organization does not allow external forwarding. Please contact your administrator for further assistance. AS(7555)'

Microsoft changed the Anti-Spam-Rules:

"6. (Optional) Expand Automatic forwarding...

 Note

  • Before September 2020, these settings are available but not enforced.

You can change the default "automatic" here:

Security & Compliance > Threat management > Policy > Anti-spam > Outbound spam filter policy > Automatic forwarding
