I have a brand new Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365. When I tried to set up Outlook to use my Yahoo! account, the wizard could not log in to the Yahoo! server. I kept getting the same error message:
"We are having trouble connecting to your account. Verify the settings below and make changes if necessary."
I tried re-entering the email address, re-entering the password, and clicking retry, but the wizard always comes back to that same error. I verified the account by logging in through Microsoft Edge, so I know I'm not entering the wrong address or password. I also tried going to Control Panel -> Programs -> Microsoft Office 365 -> Change -> Repair, but after repairing Office 365, I got the same results in Outlook 2016, again and again. I had the same Yahoo! email account as my primary account in Outlook on my previous laptop, so I don't see why Outlook 2016 can't log in to the Yahoo! server.
