MAILBOX FULL - OUTLOOK

When someone sends to him they receive a message saying his mailbox is full.

And that message is coming from the mail server. What is the mailbox size reported on the server?

Which mail account type are you using and what is the exact error message in full that is being returned? Don't paraphrase; copy/paste the entire error message that is being returned to the sender.

As for emptying the server-side mailbox; Also empty the Deleted Items and Junk folder.

The mailbox size is reported as 1013MB and we are using pop3. Yes, we also always delete the Deeleted Items and Junk folders. The messages that are being sent to senders look as below:

How much space does BT say they give you? If it's a gigabyte, then clearly you are still overquota.

Emptying the Deleted Items folder and Junk E-mail folder in Outlook 2010 for a POP account may not remove anything from the server. You must log into the mailbox using a web browser and delete the data there. I think BT is not accurate if they tell you the mailbox has been cleaned.
