Q: the system cannot find the file specified This thread is locked from future replies

...for some reason, I cannot open ANY attachment in an Outlook 2003 incoming email message.  I am running XP, SP3, Acrobat Reader 9, Acrobat Pro 9, Adobe CS5 Production Premium, with MSEE as my antivirus.  I can save the files, and subsequently open them in their appropriate programs, but cannot double click the file in the message and view it. 

I also cannot, after hours of searching, find anything remotely relevant to this in the Microsoft "support" files.  Any and all help appreciated.

Clear the temp folder as given in the article below:-

Also try disabling the integration of antivirus with outlook.
