Since native Outlook has no sync functionality of its own with any other service the will presume that the error you are encountering is coming from an AOL provided sync process. That being the case - then the question needs to be posed to AOL.
Also, always include the <exact> error message encountered in its entirety (including when you pase the question to AOL) - there are far too many error codes that can have multiple definitions. You should also note the exact steps taken that caused the results.
"Syncing calendar with AOL" may be obvious to AOL users but not to rest of the population. Providiing that info simply increases you chances of getting a more focused response and saves time for everyone by resulting in less "informational" questions being
