Error code 0x8004210A in Outlook 2010

Hi I keep on getting an error message when receiving emails in Outlook 2010. It's the timed out message with a 0x8004210A code. I have tried the Microsoft 'Fix it' and even the other upgrades you are meant to do. I thought by upgrading to 2010 I would not have these problems, not to mention (when it does work) the time it takes to receive the message... I thought I would try Microsoft but they couldn't help and said to try this forum...

Can anyone help please

Try disabling the Email scanning part of your AV and check if that fixes the issue.
