Attachment preferences

Hi

I accidentally set attachment preference to attach from OneDrive and also set "remember my preference". Now I CANNOT attach a document in an email. When I go to Attachment Preferences, it does not work...there is no response. I click on the OneDrive icon, there is no response. How can I set such that I can attach documents in OWA365 again?

Hi Chan Swee,

I want to confirm if you already changed the attachment preferences  in OWA (Gear icon > Mail > Attachment options > Attachment preferences). If not, please set the settings to “Ask me how I want to attach them every time”.


You can refer to this article on how to attach in OWA. Also, you can drag and drop a file from your computer in the Body of the email.


If the issue still occurs, please provide the following information for further troubleshooting:

1.) Does the issue also occur in other browsers like Chrome, Firefox, etc.?

2.) Does the issue only occur on your Office 365 account or also on your colleagues?

3.) Does any antivirus software prevent you attaching files in OWA?
