Outlook Meeting Reminders & Attendees ?

I have been searching and can't find information on this.  I have Outlook 2013.

If I set up a meeting on Outlook with a 15 minute reminder, will all meeting attendees get this reminder as well?  And what if they have their Outlook set up for no reminders or maybe 5 minutes?

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for your post. Yes, all the meeting attendees will get the reminder you set in the meeting. It should be informed that the Default Reminder minutes set in the Outlook client (File > Options > Calendar > under Calendar options) is the default setting of reminder in the new calendar items, such as a meeting. For example, after A set the 1 minute for the Default Reminder in the Options of Outlook client, when A try to create a new meeting, the reminder minutes will be set as I minute by default and A is able to change the related minutes .

Otherwise, as Office 2013 is no longer supported, it’s recommended for users to upgrade to Outlook 2016 for getting a better experience and more features. If you still have problem after using Outlook 2016, please be free to contact us. Thanks for your time and understanding.

Regards,
Jay
