I have been unable to resolve this persistent error message in my Outlook email client. My email account is hosted by GoDaddy. I have no problems receiving on any platform. No problems sending via iPhone or through GoDaddy's webmail. Sending via Outlook
worked until this morning, no settings were changed.
I've tried the tips from Microsoft Support (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2443563) to change the SMTP port to 587. Nothing. I tried restarting Outlook and restarting
while holding down the shift key. I've shut down the whole laptop and restarted. Nothing.
I've run out of ideas.
