Blank Info When Reading Pane is set to 'Right'

The other day, for no reason I can tell, the messages list started showing as blank when I have my reading pane sent to "Right". No issues at all when its set to "Below". Screenshot with blank / missing information below. I prefer the reading pane set to "Right"; any help anyone can offer would be appreciated!

I am using Outlook MAC 2016 v15.28.1 (161117).

For further assistance, we advise that updating to the new version will help fix the issue. We also suggest that you create a new profile for Outlook 2016 for Mac. You may refer to the link provided below:
