Microsoft Outlook IOS app is not sync the Global Address book contacts with Local contacts using Intune

From your description, I understand that part of end users cannot sync between office 365 exchange contacts and mobile device local contacts on Outlook IOS. If I have misunderstanding, please kindly correct me.

For using Mobile Device Management, you need to make sure users enroll their devices and users with Android or iOS devices are required to install the Company Portal app as part of the enrollment process.

We have sine already as per link provided, please provide the specific steps to get this worked. The IOS native contact needs to sync the contacts with office 365 global address book with out the office365 email on native email client.

Please note that the Global Address book won’t sync to IOS native contacts, only the personal contacts created in office 365 can sync to the default Mail app in IOS or outlook for IOS.

If you configured your account in outlook for IOS, the contacts won’t sync to native contacts, you just can check the contacts in outlook for IOS.

If you configured your account in default Mail app via ActiveSync, you can go to native contacts > groups > choose the account.

Yes ok. This was one of the business requirment what we were not able to force the Intune policy to use only MS outlook app for IOS users. in this case, we are unable to safe guard our business emails as we have been forced to use IOS native clients due to above issue. when email and contacts are replicating to IOS native client, we will not able to safe guard our data and unable to implement DLP SOlution.

I will explain how we have implemented Intune Policy.

We have recently adopted IOS in our business environment and selected Microsoft Comp portal (Intune) for our Office 365 usage. The Polices are:

Personal and company data are segregated through Intune policy - is working

Usage of IOS Native client is restricted to configure Office 365 - is working

Microsoft Outlook App is mandatory to use to access Office 365 emails - Is working but IOS IMAP client is bypassing above policy to configure Office 365 email. - Vulnerability in Intune.

Microsoft Intune browser is mandatory to use for company application portals (but SAP and other websites are not browsing properly, so we have avoided this browser and using IOS native browser (Safari)

Office 365 outlook global address book's contacts are not syncing with local IOS Native client, due to this, senior management is not using Intune. unable to implement data segregation. - Policy is not working

Automatic IOS application push happening through Intune - is working

Avoid to configure the Office 365 app without IT approval through Intune - is working

According to your description, it seem that the Android enrollment has been set up completely. For IOS device, you should confirm below steps have been finished:

1. Set up Intune (It seems you have finished).
2. Get a certificate signing request. You should download the APNs certificate request, and save a .csr file which is used to create the APNs certificate in Apple Push Certificates Portal.
3. Get an Apple Push Notification service certificate. 
4. Add the APNs certificate to Intune (Upload the APNs certificate).
5. Set up access for IOS end users: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune-user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-ios
