Outlook for Android delayed email notification

I have Android and IOS devices both running the Outlook Client. I also have the Android native mail client configured with the same email account and note that notifications from Outlook for Android are delayed for 1 hour. The email notification comes through fine on the native client and Outlook for IOS, however the same notification takes an hour to be sent to the phone. Samsung S7 Edge running the latest updates available for 7.0. It has recently had a full reset and setup as a new phone, and the problem still exists.  All toher notifications come through in a timely fashion e.g. Native Client Google Hangouts, WhatsApp  etc. Just Outlook is delayed. According to your description, email notifications are delayed when using Outlook for Android client.

 

Please try updating the Outlook for Android application and using another network environment to check if it helps.
