I have some themes with selected fonts and colors in Word 2007 for Windows from work that I would like to import into Word 2011 for Macintosh.
I noticed that in Word 2011's Themes dropdown (from the Home tab), we don't see a separate "Fonts" category from colors like we do in Windows
( In Winword, click the Page Layout tab, select Themes, and there we have a choice of colors or fonts,)
Is there a way to import the themes built into my Word for Windows templates over into Word for Macintosh?
Yes. Themes are saved in files with (.thmx) file extensions. These work on both Mac and PC.
Put theme files into your My Themes folder.
The My Themes folder ins in this directory
User:Library:Application Support:Microsoft:Office:User Templates
The Library folder is hidden in Lion. To make the Library folder visible follow these instructions:

I am an unpaid volunteer and do not work for Microsoft. "Independent Advisors" work for contractors hired by Microsoft. "Microsoft Agents" work for Microsoft Support.
