OneNote Notebook icons in OneDrive

Are there supposed to be OneNote icons on files/folders?  If there are, what could cause them to not show up?

Yes, there should be OneNote icon in the left top corner tile of OneDrive.



For your situation, I would like to collect the following information to clarify your situation:

1. Can you access OneNote via the link?
    https://www.onenote.com/
2. A screenshot regarding "not show up"
3. Can you see the OneNote icon when you create a new file via the New button?

4. Anything misunderstood, please share more information with us, some screenshots would be highly appreciated.

As you can see below in OneDrive>Shared with me> icons for Notebooks are missing
