OneNote 2016 Recognizing Handwriting, But Not "Finding" It In Search Bar

So I'm having a problem with the handwriting recognition. I remember having the same problem a while back and doing something that fixed it, but I can't find the post that had the solution. When I go to search for handwritten text in the search bar, it will highlight the handwritten text (correctly) on the page, but it won't display any hits on the search bar to link me to where it is found. Any tips? I have a picture attached to better explain the problem.

Let's check where the issue is coming from. please give us an idea about the following:

- When was the last time the "Search bar" working properly?

- Did you make any changes to the settings of OneNote?

I haven't used it in a couple weeks since the issue began, but it worked fine then and it was able to find things I wrote the same day. Now it seems like the things I can search for and find in the search bar must have been written prior to a certain date or else they're simply highlighted if they're on the current page. I can't seem to figure out when the date was though, because I go back and edit my notes often.
