Office 2019

Hello Microsoft,

There have been a lot of postings that there will not be a OneNote 2019 and MS wants people to use the OneNote built into Windows 10 - We use OneNote 2016 extensively and the notebooks are stored on network drives which are not an option with the built in version and also that built in version with Window 10 is not a feature rich.  Please have a OneNote 2019 version or change the windows 10 version to allow storing notebooks on network drivers.

Hi Kevin,

According to this TechNet article, Office 2019 will include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business).

I understand your dilemma, if OneNote for Windows 10 is required to be used, then there will be further information/articles in future about how we can use OneNote for Windows 10 in a way which do not affect our current structure.

In the meantime, I’ll suggest you vote in the following UserVoice thread where other users have requested to include OneNote in Office 2019. UserVoice is the best way to give the feedback to Product Group, as it actively monitored by them and many new features have been implemented from our customers feedback.

Include OneNote for Desktop in Office 2019
