Can't open OneNote in android (Samsung Note 5)

I have connected my OneNote in android. Everything was working fine. One day the app suddenly stopped working (I think due to some error in syncing data from server). After that, I have done following (android):

1. Remove Office Account

2. Clear OneNote app cache

3. Uninstall OneNote updates

4. Disable OneNote (there is no option to uninstall OneNote)

5. Reboot android

6. Enable OneNote

7. Open OneNote

8. Update OneNote

9. Add my account

At this point, it tries to get my notes from my online account but fails with error:

"There's a problem

We can't complete this task. Try again.

Error code: e00001ae"

When I click OK, the app closes.

I can see all my notes via web. It seems that there is nothing wrong with any of my notes. I have no special characters etc. anywhere.

Note: In the same device, when I try to connect with a different account having no notes, then everything works fine.

How can  I use OneNote with my existing account on my android device now?

Please Help.

Ok, I have performed following steps to fix the problem:

1. Save/backup every page within my only note book (I have got only 4-5 pages).

2. Delete every page from note book.

3. Open OneNote App.

4. Login with the Microsoft account.

5. It successfully sync and open the empty note book.

6. Create all pages within the note book from backup.

7. In OneNote, "Sync All" (standing at note book level).

Now, everything working fine again.

Note: I am very careful now in operations like rename/delete, i.e. I am trying to make sure that I sync it after each major operation.
