Are the OneDrive servers GDPR compliant?

Using OneDrive to share CRM data about my customers, I need to be sure that the USoft cloud and the servers my data sits on, comply with GDPR rules - ie are based in the EEA, a country with adequacy,  or signed up to the Privacy Shield. Can you confirm this is the case?

What about backups,  and DR datacentres?

Thanks.
