OneDrive For Business - User getting Access Denied Message when trying to access their own account

Hi,

I have a user who is getting the below error when trying to access their OneDrive Site.

They also get a permission error when trying to setup their OneDrive Desktop Sync App.

Other users with the same permissions can use the service with no problems.

I cant see any issues with the account from my end, can somebody from Microsoft look into this from their end?

Please check the answer in a similar thread OneDrive User unable to access. If the steps do not help, I'd like to collect the user's account information to check if there is any mismatch in the account information.

To move forward, could you please first share with us the results of the steps suggested in the article mentioned above? Has the user accessed the OneDrive for Business library before? Please share with us some screenshots of the results of the steps checked.

Hi Tina,

Folllowing the instructions in the linked article, The user is the admin of their personal site from what I can see.

When they vist the link for their site(https://contoso-my.sharepoint.com/personal/user_contoso_com/_layouts/15/onedrive.aspx) they get the below image.

When trying to navigate away from this page (E.g Click on OneDrive) they get the Access Denied error.

This is the first time they have tried to use OneDrive

Hi Tina,

Can you check from your end to see if there is any mismatch in the account information.

The users account is setup as described in the linked article OneDrive User unable to access.

Other users with the same account settings and permissions have no issues.

I dont have access to this page at the moment so I cant get a screenshot but the page looks the same as in the screenshot in the article OneDrive User unable to access.  Both options Everyone and Everyone Execpt external user are listed.
