January Updates for Office Mobile Apps

January updates for Office Mobile apps are now available for Windows Insiders

If you’re running Windows 10 Preview Insider Build 11082 or later, then you’ll now have access to some newer versions of Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, and PowerPoint Mobile.  We’ve just uploaded builds 17.6568* of the apps to the Windows Store. As Insiders you can get an early look at some new features coming soon, including the new Funnel Chart type and improved Pinch and Zoom in Excel Mobile, and real-time co-authoring in PowerPoint Mobile so you can see what others are typing as it happens.

If you have automatic updates enabled, you should update over the next few hours. Also you can always force an immediate update by going to the Store and Check for updates

As always, thanks for being part of the Windows Insider program. We really appreciate the feedback you provide, so please try out the apps and let us know what you think, either through the forums or by clicking File > Feedback within an app.

Hi everyone,

There’s an issue in the Office Mobile App Insider release that we’d like to let you know about.

If your preferred region setting is English (United Kingdom), the Office Mobile apps will incorrectly use English (United States) instead to check spelling. For example, Word Mobile will flag “colour” as a misspelling and suggest “color” as the replacement.

Rest assured, this issue will be fixed shortly!
