Exchange Online Archive Limitations

Hi,

I'm having a concern regarding Exchange Online Archiving for Office 365. I really appreciate an MSFT person to verify this.

With E3, MS promotes of unlimited storage for online archiving. I know that automatic expansion is not yet available around the globe, so, many people would have to turn to O365 support for support with the expansion.

My question is, is it really unlimited and can we request to increase it as we reach the quota given or is there a limitation to increasing the quota?

Thanks,

Muditha

Hi Muditha,

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes, you can still get the unlimited archive space even if the storage can’t be automatic expanded. If you reach the quota capacity (50 GB), please do not hesitate to request more additional archive storage by contacting Microsoft Support.

Meanwhile, until now, automatic addition of storage is available only in Asia-Pacific region. Other regions will follow soon.

Thanks,

Gary
