On clicking the Outlook 2016 icon in an attempt to open it, the large Outlook  icon appears in the centre of the screen and "Loading Profile" appears in the bottom left hand corner of it. With a second or so, this changes to "Processing"  with the procession of dots moving L to R and that is as far as it gets. I have left it for 15 minutes and it doesn't alter with the dots still moving L to R. The version of Windows on the computer was created in July 2009. All the other 2016 Office programmes work as they should.
