I'm having the same issues, none of the advice here has made any difference.  My Microsoft account is not a live/hotmail... email account.

Support, please find the error codes hidden in the source of the page below:

Ok I've figured it out!  Go to http://account.live.com, login and make sure that your Name is stored in your Microsoft profile.  Now it works!
