Installed office 365 but can't find it (Windows 10)

Hi.

Today I purchased a office 365 license for 5 PC/Mac
I've actually installed this for some friends and family and never had issues with it but I can't seem to make it work here.
I log in, enter the product key without any issue, then I go to download, I get a windows telling me to way a bit while the software is downloaded and installed and after a few minutes I get a screen telling me it's done installing that I can start using office.

But I can't find it. In the start menu I can't find any of the programs, If I go to my hard drive I don't find them installed anywhere. But if I got to setting- apps- and order them by "installation date" then it does appear as installed.

I've tried restarting the PC, uninistallin git from the Apps menu and installing it again but nothing seems to work.

Any help.

I'm running Windows 10 home 64 bits
PC should be more than capable to run Office since it's running on quad core i7, 16gb of ram and a Gtx 1050.

Win Key (flag icon) click A then W....... scroll down to Word 2016, rt click>Pin to...........

Or in Cortana search type Excel, rt click the resulting shortcut>Pin to.........

None of the office programs appear anywhere. I can search for Word or Excel in the start menu and it doesn't find anything

I'm having the same issue.

I uninstalled Office 365 Business (64-bit) via "Apps & Features" in the Windows settings.

Rebooted PC

Installed Office 365 Business (64-bit) using the download link in portal.office.com

Installed completed but I could not find any of the programs in start menu.   I checked visually and also using the search bar.

Rebooted PC

Still could not find programs in start menu

I checked the default file associations and none of the Office programs are listed.

Anyone find a fix for this?

I found the executable files in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16

I ran Excel.exe and was able to launch the program.  After that the shortcut showed up in the start menu but only for Excel.

Looks like the Office installer is not completing yet it tells me that it completed successfully.

Thoughts?

We also had this issue and ended up having to install the 32-bit version instead.
