A few days ago, I set up a new computer. It came preinstalled with Office. To avoid any issues, I removed office with the removal tool (found here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Uninstall-Office-from-a-PC-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8), and installed Office 2016.
It seemed to have installed fine, but when trying to save files to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates, the file disappears. I found it actually save it to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Office.Desktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates instead.
I then noticed in my installed programs list, I have Office Home and Business 2016 and Microsoft Office Desktop App installed.
My question:
If I uninstall Microsoft Desktop App, will this fix the issue? From my understanding, I have 2 different versions of Office installed, but I only want the Home and Business version.
