Error 1309 Error reading from file D:\SKU111.CAB

During initial upgrade from CD received error message "Error 1309 Error reading from file D:\SKU111.CAB"

I was given the option to browse for the file or close.  The browse option did not work as on enquirying the content of the CD drive a second upgrade package started and reported the conflict.  My only option was to close the upgrade(s).

Read the installation options and decided to upgrade as a download.  Successfully as I first thought - wrong.

Can use Word 2007, cannot use Excel 2007 as the error occurs during the installation wizard operartes.

I have upgraded as per the documentation, have purchased all relevant products (even reguistered for free upgrade to 2010.

Maybe you should uninstall all Office versions. Reinstall Office 2007
and insert the Office 2003 CD (assuming you have one.....) when asked
for a qualifying product.
