Samsung Galaxy Tab A Office Suite Compatibility

I bought a new branded Samsung Galaxy Tab A (WiFi Only) at last year. Microsoft Office suite comes pre-installed with this device. However, when I clicked a app (Word, Excel or Powerpoint), the app crashed suddenly.

After then, I searched those apps in Google Play Store for updating new version but I cannot find those apps on the store. I found apps Google Play Store links via Chrome. All of the pages says,” Your device is not capable for app”.

Why ? I cannot understand my device is not supported ?  Via Microsoft's System requirements for Office for Android:

Office for Android™ can be installed on tablets and phones that meet* the following criteria: running Android KitKat 4.4 or later version and have an ARM-based or Intel x86 processor.

As you read the description, my tablet meet the requirements (9.7 inches screen, Lollipop 5.0.2 , 1,5 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 CPU). Are anyone encountered with this issue ?

As per your issue, I suggest you to reset Office and check the results. Please tap Menu to access Office Mobile Settings on the Android Phone. Now Reset Office Mobile from Settings.

 

Once done, you may remove and re-install Office Mobile and check if the issue persists or not.

Firstly, I have a tablet, not a phone :) If I can open, I will reset settings however no GUI opened. (Standalone Office apps comes pre-installed on my Galaxy Tab A). Due to factory install of office apps, I can not delete any of them. In addition to this, Office apps not visible while searching them on Google Play Store. I found apps Google Play Store links via Chrome. All of the pages says,” Your device is not capable for app”. So, I cannot use any Office app  on My Galaxy Tab A. It think it is a critical issue for MS. Especially in agreement with Samsung for Office suite ...

I have this exact same problem, and neither Samsung nor MS seems to have any solution or intelligible answer. When will the Office apps be updated so they work again? It's the whole reason i bought the tablet in the first place. A solution for a paying 365 Premium customer would be AWESOME!

But no, no one has an answer.
