Microsoft Power Automate - Pull one cell from Excel

Hello -

I have an Excel file that I created and I need flow to be able to pull just one cell of information from it, or pull a whole row. But when I select "Get Row" it pulls every row in the columns.

Situation:

User fills out form, form is created as a price menu.

When user selects what items need done, Flow pulls information from Excel and places it into an email.

I need Flow to either pull one entire row or one cell

Any suggestions?

Hi Turbo,

Thanks for reaching out.

I'm Emmie Lou, an independent advisor who would be happy to help you in solving your problem.

May I know first if what format do you have now with your Flow? I suggest you to extract just the data in it, not the one cell or entire row itself.

Hi Turbo Thunder,

I think you may build a Microsoft Power Automate to record Forms response into Excel and send it into email. But you may meet problem when you are using this flow. I find a similar template in Microsoft Automate template gallery: Track Microsoft Forms responses in an Excel Online (Business) spreadsheet. If you build a flow similar with that, I cannot find any actions in Excel Online (Business) connector related to cells. And I don’t find an action related to it in the article: Excel Online (Business)-Microsoft Power Automate.

However, there could be a solution or workaround. I would suggest you post the query in Microsoft Power Automat Community which is specialized for users who meet problem when building a flow. You may find a solution there.

Best Regards,

Robinson
