Excel Won't Open File when double-clicking. Will open using Excel, File-Open.

all office products will not open the file by double clicking. will open the progam ie excel word etc but I have to the go file open????

Answer

Try this

on any excel file right click and select Open with

and select Microsoft Excel

and make sure to check "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file"

this process will open your file in Excel...close the file and try double clicking again
