I can't open Excel files from our network drive on my computer, Error code: 0x80070002
I have a rather strange problem. Today my computer was working fine until I went to access a file on our network drive and I got the error:
Windows can not find [file path] Check the spelling of the name. otherwise there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose Error code: 0x80070002
So I reset the network drive, reset my computer and still got the same error. I can open all other file types, but not excel. Further more if I email the file I can open it online in hotmail but if I download it to my my desktop from the email I get the same
error.
Other computers on the network can access the files so it seems like a problem isolated to my machine. Strange enough I can open and manipulate excel files on excel that were on my hard drive, just not any files that were on the network drive. Any suggestions???
