Error Message when I open Macro Worksheet. Excel 2016 for Mac - Compile Error in hidden module: CLS TREE VIEW

Compile error in hidden module: 'clsTreeView'. This error commonly occurs when code is incompatible with the version, platform, or architecture of this applictation.

I am trying to open a macro worksheet and everytime I click a cell, it shows this message. Please help!

The error message is correct. You see this error when there is a bug in the macro code. In this case, it is likely the macro was written for 32-bit versions of Excel. Recently, Microsoft upgraded Excel on the Mac to 64-bit, which requires that macros be updated to accommodate 64-bit Excel.

Otherwise, contact the macro author and get an updated version.
