Login.live.com

I can login into my MS account login.live,com.

Everything is there and works.

But when I open the EMail from there - I get "something went wrong".

What can I do?

For us to further isolate the issue, we'd like to ask you a few questions:

  • Which browser are you using?
  • Does this happen to all browsers?
  • Have you tried clearing cookies and cache?
  • Were there any changes made on your account prior to the issue?

As an initial troubleshooting step, log in to your account using this link: http://outlook.live.com/OWA.

If you still get the error, add an Outlook.com alias to your account, and use that alias as your primary alias. To learn more about Outlook.com aliases, see add or remove an email alias in Outlook.com.

  • Thanks for help. I use EDGE, Chrome, IE ... everywhere the same.
  • Cookies I cleared several times.
  • Didn#t make any changes - got a new Windowsphone as the old one stopped working.
  • Same when I login here: http://outlook.live.com/OWA.
  • Also added an alias to my live account - no solution of problem.

When I login into my Laptop I use my Windows live account (***Personal information deleted by the moderator.  - now with an alias).

I use also O365 with my company account***Personal information deleted by the moderator. Workes all fine.

In my WIndows live I had some time ago an hotmail account ... which I didn't use anylonger and/or it was turned into an Outlook account which I didn't use either. But the contacts I guess where in use and those I used in my Smartphone which is alos connected to my windows live account.

Now in the new windowsphone when I sync my windows live account aMail ... is says there's a problem.

When I am in my Surface laptop and go into my windows live account and want to open eMail it sais there went something wrong

So you find me confused. The live account otherwise works . just ordered a Smartphone few days ago and use it as primary login on all my laptops and smartphones. Just miss my contacts now.
