You might not receive an email informing you that there is a new reply in a thread you are following. We are working on fixing this as fast as possible. Please make sure to periodically check the conversation to see if there are any updates.
According to your description, the Text Prediction feature isn't working and it doesn't give suggestions when you type in Word.
We did a test in Word, version 2204(15128.20178) Current channel. We cannot reproduce the issue. It will give suggestion when typing.
For the situation you encountered, we do understand it has affected your daily work. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We want to help you do troubleshooting.
Here are some suggestions, you may have a try.
1.Check if the same issue happens in a specific document. Try to create a new document and see the result.
2.Ensure you are using latest version of Word. To check for updates, you can go to File>Account>Update Options>Update Now.
3.You may also try to turn off the Text Prediction feature by going to File>Option>Advanced>Editing Options, firstly uncheck the box for "Show text prediction while typing". Save.
Then recheck it. Save. Restart Word and check the result.
4.In addition, you may open Word application in safe mode, create a new document and see if issue happens.
Press Windows key and R key to open the Run window, enter winword /safe and click OK.
Sade mode can help you determine if the issue is caused by add-ins in Word.
If issue persists in Word, we are very sorry about it.
