Word problem with Sonoma

After updating to Sonoma 14.2.1 text and footnotes disappear in WORD (Office 365), in view modes Web Layout, Outline, and Draft. How can I fix this?

This is a known issue with Sonoma. There is no fix at the user level but the respective developers are aware of the problem. Make sure you keep Office & macOS fully updated.

You might also use Help> Feedback in Word to add your voice to the choir.

The article you linked to has nothing to do with the subject of concern. This has nothing to do with Overtype Mode.

Neither is your Windows-based reply of any value to a Mac user. By now it would seem that all Independent Advisors would be fully aware of the fact that there is no "File > Options" in any edition of Mac Office software.
