Word online inserting excel spreadsheet

I am using O365 online. I am attempting to insert an Excel document into a Word document and I see references to Insert > Text > Object; however, that is not an option in Word Online.

Does anyone know how to do this? I can do it in the Word 365 app, but not the online version, and I need to be able to do it in the online version so it can be used in a 3rd-party app we use. Any assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and have a blessed day.

Pam

Dear Pamela

Thanks for posting in the community.

For your concern, you can’t insert objects in Word for Web. Since you can do it in the Word application, please open this online document in the Word application via File> Open> select the online location and open the online document. After that, you can insert the object from the workbook.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.
