Word merge feature in Access has been grayed out since June 12/23

Word merge feature in Access has been grayed out since June 12/23 and we are not able to reactivate it therefore not able to merge the data into an existing Word template. We are using Office 365 but Word templates were done in older versions. This was all working last week. We have restarted, tried to run a repair but nothing has worked. Below is a screen shot of the error message that indicates the mail merge wizard will be needed but that also will not open.

What build number is your Access installation?

This might be an emerging update bug. We need to know the build for further checking.

Today June 20/23 I installed the most recent Office 365 update which included Access, Word and Outlook changes and it fixed the Access to Word merge problem I was experiencing and also my Word program which was prompting to open in safe mode. Thank you for getting to this so quickly!

Can you tell us what version and build number you see now? I'm wondering because last week you wrote to have

> Version 2305 build 16501.20210

and I don't get a newer build in the Current Channel.
