Word lost my changes because of a sign-in issue

Similar to this question

Word kept saying me it can't upload changes. I was like OK I can just save as to my OneDrive folder.

It saved it to the folder and then I closed Word. When I re-opened it it turns out this piece of **** never actually saved it. The interconnection with OneDrive is broken and nobody should be using it.

I have checked the autosave files, and version histories of OneDrive but there is no late version of my document. In fact the latest version is from two days when I last edited it.

I advice nobody to rely on Microsoft's pieces of **** cloud software.

Hello Bertus Oscari.

I have understood that you are not able to synchronize your Word files in a timely manner due to OneDrive not being able to log in.

Regarding your issue, it is most likely caused by the recent OneDrive data migration that is taking place. Users around the world have reported similar issues and Microsoft has been working to resolve them. However, some users have solved the problem by changing their network environment. You can try it.

However, if this method does not work for you, you may need to wait for a while. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Best Regards,
