Word 2016 doesn’t display a font properly

I have a document, which uses a Type 1 Postscript font in the header. It is Adobe’s Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk.

This is what it looks like in Word 2011 (address information blurred to protect privacy):

This is what it looks like in Word 2016:

Word 2016 obviously doesn’t render the font correctly. The Version of Word I am running is 15.13.1.

Where do I report this bug?

Answer
Answer

There have been a fair number of complaints about incorrect rendering of third-party family fonts. These are non-Microsoft fonts that are grouped to work with the Bold and Italic buttons. Often users see bold when they want roman, or vice-versa. Even well-crafted fonts from large foundries get this treatment, so it's not a font quality issue, just a bug.

If your copy of Word has a smiley-face icon in the upper-right corner, click on it, choose Tell Us What Can Be Better and file a report. MS does not acknowledge the reports, but they do receive them.
