Why my Word document cannot be synced to OneDrive?

Per your description, you cannot sync a specific Word document to OneDrive Online. I'd like to help you, we can work together to narrow down the situation and move towards a resolution path.

To troubleshoot this issue, you may try to directly upload that document to OneDrive website, see if it works or not.

1.Open OneDrive sync folder on your computer, drag that document out from the sync folder. You may temporarily save it to other location in C drive.

2.Go to OneDrive website, ensure that document is not in OneDrive. Otherwise, please also remove it.

Then click +Add new > Files upload, navigate to that document on your computer and upload it.

If it works, the document will sync back to OneDrive folder on local drive.

However, if this method doesn't work, you may also try creating a new document, manually copy and paste the content to new document, then upload it to OneDrive. If it works, use it to replace the original document.
