why is my office 365 not working, I am receiving outlook error messages and excel error messages, when asked to repair it closes down and does not repair.

why is my office 365 not working, I am receiving outlook and excel error messages, when asked to repair it closes down and does not repair.

The message states: "We're sorry, but execl/outlook has run into an error tha is preventing it from working correctly. Ecel will need to be closed as a result. Would you like us to repair now? Options are repair now Help close. I choose repair now and nothing happens . I then open outlook or excel and get the same message.
